What have you been doing over the weekend in preparation for your campaign?
Lots of t-shirt painting and cardboard painting. Most importantly, I thought that on Sunday night to get as much rest and preparation as possible so that I can be as ready as possible for this election because it’s going to be a hard two weeks and I need to keep going the whole way.

How are you feeling on the first day of campaigning?
Nervous but optimistic and looking forward to the challenge. Guild elections are always a fantastic show of democracy and I’m sure the best person will win in each category.

What have you been doing over the weekend in preparation for your campaign?
My campaign team has been absolutely excellent. I can’t thank them enough. They’ve helped me so much and hopefully we can reward ourselves by having a good campaign and hopefully getting over the line.

What have you been doing over the weekend in preparation for your campaign?
Well this weekend I’ve been in Leeds playing in the quarter semi-finals for the water polo team, so this week has been very hectic. It’s been about organisation, when I’m going to go to lecture shout-outs, sports teams and organising my campaign team to give out fliers.

How are you feeling on the first day of campaigning?
Quite tired because it was a long weekend. We left at 6am on Saturday and got back at 11pm on Sunday. Lots of things still need to be done so I’ll see how it goes today and then build on it tomorrow and throughout the campaign period.

How have your campaign team been working so far?
They’ve been brilliant in helping for everything really, such as helping to make fliers and helping paint. Really I don’t think I’d be anywhere near where I am right now without their help. They’ve been absolutely fantastic for me and hopefully they’ll continue throughout the whole campaign period.

What have you been doing over the weekend in preparation for your campaign?
We’ve been doing a lot of sign-painting, getting ready with some cardboard cutouts and trying to prepare speeches. And finish off university work that’s due in this week! It’s been quite tiring but we’re looking forward to it.

How are you feeling on the first day of campaigning?
Really excited, looking forward to getting started and looking forward to debating what students really need and what we want, and having a lot of fun. We’re having a lot of fun with the campaign video and just getting round talking to people. I’m really looking forward to the experience.

What have you been doing over the weekend in preparation for your campaign?
Really well. They’ve been amazingly helpful with artwork and painting, and helping to prepare speeches and slogans. I’d like to thank them for all their hard work.
