		<description><![CDATA[I&#039;m sorry to hear that, mate, and of course problems still exist in society; but in the context of the article, I stand by what I say in that what London is witnessing at the moment proves that Sport can transcend social problems, and that we have come a long way from the Riots one year ago. Yes, there are anomalies in society and crime will always exist but the Olympic Spirit is uplifting the nation.]]></description>

When I said &#039;no&#039;, he started to pull a knife from his pocket; I ran before he got a chance to use it. The athletics and the Olympics in general are great - but all of the nation&#039;s social ills are not banished by virtue of a few people running and jumping.]]></description>
